Northeast Academy of Dance has been a staple in Maine's dance and performing arts community for over 27 years. With studios in Windham and South Paris, NE Dance is committed to offering excellence in education for dancers, ranging from the recreational participant, to the professional dancer.

Our vision is to provide quality dance education, grounded in traditional technique and combined with innovative, contemporary, and cutting edge styles.

How do we accomplish this? What separates Northeast from others? Northeast Academy of Dance is the only dance academy in Maine which hosts a full comprehensive faculty of professional instructors, guaranteeing a well rounded technical dance curriculum, while at the same time offering styles available only in major urban areas. Members of our faculty have performed and worked as recognized professional dancers, choreographers, and instructors, throughout the country and have credits in all aspects of the performing arts genre including working in music video, industrial, cruise ship entertainment, professional dance certification, college degrees, modeling, dance conventions, competitions, and more! Northeast Academy of Dance is the only school of dance in Southern Maine that can make this claim.

Our students will enjoy a fun, exciting atmosphere as they foster a love for dance, music, and the performing arts, as well as forming lifelong friendships with other students. Our goal is to release each student's full potential, recreational or competitive, child, teen, or adult. At Northeast, we don't care who you are, dance is for EVERYONE!

Our curriculum includes classes in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip-Hop, Cheerdance, and Musical Theatre. Classes are available year-round to children ages 3+ to adults.
